Referrals
You do not need a referral to make an appointment to see our practitioners. Some private health funds provide rebates for our services but you will need to check with your health provider to determine eligibility.
Each counselling session is private and confidential. As set out by the APS code of ethics, limitations to confidentiality apply if there is an immediate or specific risk or harm to an identifiable person’s safety or if a client’s life file is subpoenaed by a court of law.
Medicare Rebates Available
Medicare provider registration allows clients to claim a substantial rebate for therapy when a doctor refers the client for psychological treatment. Speak to your doctor to access this rebate.
EmPowerMe Health & Wellbeing Practice allows you to receive Medicare rebates immediately into your bank account when paying for your session by EFTPOS, cash, credit card or cheque.
